Membership Information

The Columbine Papillon Club offers four types of membership:

Membership Type Annual Fee Description Requirements
Regular $ 15 For residents of Colorado, at least 18 years of age.  Entitled to one vote and may hold elected or appointed office. Have two CPC Sponsors, and must attend two (2) club meetings within six (6) months prior to applying for membership. Note: applicants can first apply as an Associate Member until they meet these meeting requirements.
Household $ 25 For two or more residents of Colorado residing in the same household.  For those 18 years of age and over, may hold elected or appointed office, and entitled to vote. Have two CPC Sponsors, and must attend two (2) club meetings within six (6) months prior to applying for membership. Note: applicants can first apply as an Associate Member until they meet these meeting requirements.
Junior $ 5 For residents of Colorado under 18 years of age.  No voting privileges and may not hold elected or appointed office. Have two CPC Sponsors.
Associate $ 10 For persons not residing in Colorado, or who wish to be a member for purposes other than to vote or hold office.  No voting privileges and may not hold elected or appointed office. Have two CPC Sponsors.

Overview of the process to join the Columbine Papillon Club:

  1. Download the Membership Application (see below)

  2. Complete the application (note: applicants for Regular or Household Membership must also meet the meeting attendance requirements)

  3. Every applicant needs to have 2 sponsors (either Regular or Household CPC Members).  Have your sponsors sign your application.

  4. Mail your completed application to the CPC Recording Secretary (see below)

  5. Sponsors:  Both sponsors must also complete a separate Sponsor Form (see below), and mail them to the CPC Recording Secretary.

  6. After the Recording Secretary has received all the forms, the CPC Membership will then vote on each applicant at the next available CPC Membership Meeting.

  7. Election To Membership Requirements:  2/3 of the voting members present (Regular and Household members), voting by secret ballot, at that meeting shall be required to elect the applicant.

  8. The applicant will be notified of the CPC Membership's decision.
